Heritage Hands: In Conversation with the Makers 2:45pm

oin Melissa Hoedel, creator of Heritage Hands, and Michael Green, wig maker at Queensland Ballet, for a relaxed small-group talk and walkthrough of the exhibition.

Beginning outside the Thomas Dixon Centre, Melissa will introduce the project and share insights into its development before guiding visitors through the exhibition. Michael will speak to his work as a theatrical wig maker, offering a firsthand perspective on the skill, precision and experience behind his craft.

These informal sessions offer a unique opportunity to hear directly from both the artist and one of the featured artisans, while exploring the stories, processes and traditions represented in Heritage Hands.

Session times: 2:00pm and 2:45pm
